This fantastic looking Breitling was brought into us for a new battery and a pressure test to check for the appropriate water resistance. Look carefully at the photo of the gasket in the channel which is how it came into us. The gasket is way too thin, not even sticking up above the gasket channel, offering absolutely no water resistance at all. Luckily for our customer it rarely goes anywhere near water so was saved from a potentially very expensive movement, dial and hands repair or replacement.
